89 Year Old Star Cockatoo Retired From Bird Show Proves She Still Hasn’t Lost Any Of Her Charm

Cockatoos make wonderful pets. They are really intelligent and social, so if you interact with them and keep them encouraged with a lot of treats, they can be trained to so incredible things. They also have a very long lifespan compared to other pets. They can live for more than 80 years! If you’re not convinced, just look at the one in the following video!

Duster the umbrella-crested cockatoo is 89 years old! Now that is quite old for anyone, especially a little bird. Despite her age, she remains is as pretty and active like other cockatoos her age. She is the apple of her owner’s eye. Originally from Australia, she was trained in California to become the star of a bird show. She is happily retired now, yet her trainers still talk about her very fondly.
